The Vampire Plant

A weak man who lives with his mother notices that the bullies who pick on him are disappearing one by one. He starts to think his strong-willed wife might be behind it, and that her meat-eating plant called hemo anderantus is doing the killing.

When his tormentors mysteriously start to vanish, a wimpy mama's boy turns his eyes on the assertive young woman he married. He begins to suspect that her carnivorous plant, hemo anderantus is the perpetrator of the crimes.

Hubbard Quint, tied to his widowed mother’s apron strings, secretly writes letters to female pen pals, one of whom, Dolores Masterson, determines to marry him. He’s the heir to a lucrative burglar alarm business, but his mother has always kept it from him. Dolores makes Mrs. Quint a present of a haemoederentus plant which she puts beside her bed. Within hours she’s dead. A few days later, the burglar alarm factory manager meets the same fate. Dolores now has only Hubbard to get rid of before she can take over the business.
