The White Wolf
A family living at the heart of a remote wilderness is haunted and plagued by a stalking werewolf. Despite the mystery surrounding the strange creature, the children have their own theories as to the real identity of the werewolf.
Wilhem Krantz, who in anger killed his unfaithful wife, now lives in isolation with his three children deep in Germany's Hartz Mountains. Out one day trying to shoot a white wolf that has been bothering them, Wilhem is surprised by a beautiful woman, dressed in a flowing white cape, emerging from the woods. He takes her in, then marries her, but his children are frightened especially when they see their new stepmother wolfing down food in a wolf-like manner.
A family lives deep in the wilderness where a werewolf hunts and terrorizes them. While the adults can't figure out who the monster really is, the kids think they know the truth about the creature's identity.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
