Till Death Do Us Part
An ordinary middle-aged woman who never married falls in love with her boss, even though he has a wife. The man promised he would never leave his wife while she's alive. So the woman comes up with a plan to kill the wife and take the husband for herself.
A plain and middle-aged spinster becomes romantically entangled with her married boss. Unfortunately for her, her lover has made a promise to never leave his wife as long as they both live. His mistress hatches a plot to get rid of the wife so she can claim her man.
Given a summons for speeding by a motorcycle cop, an angry Miriam Mallory, homely and still single at 45, resigns when her boss, Irwin Pomeroy, raises his voice at her. He, however, pleads with her to reconsider, saying that though married, he has been secretly in love with her for 15 years. She is so happy over finally being loved that she even volunteers to shoot Pomeroy’s wife—until she’s caught for speeding again by the same cop.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
