To Kill with Confidence
While traveling across the country, a couple of newlyweds are forced to stop at a nearby town due to engine trouble. The wife makes a quick visit to the local stores to grab lunch and comes back to find that both her husband and the repair shop have mysteriously vanished.
A newly married couple's car breaks down during a cross-country trip, so they pull into a small town for repairs. The wife goes shopping for food, but when she returns, her husband and the entire garage have disappeared without a trace.
While driving on their honeymoon, Leo and Ruth, married just two weeks, stop to have their car repaired. She leaves to buy him a birthday present, returning 90 minutes later to discover the car has gone, Leo has disappeared and that the service station they had stopped at has been closed for three years.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
