A jobless engineer gets a second shot at work when his wife asks his former boss for help. But there's a catch - he has to bring the boss's son on the job. Things go bad when the young man tries to steal the engineer's wife.

After his wife appeals to his old boss to give him another chance, an unemployed civil engineer gets a chance to redeem himself. However, he must take the boss's son along for the project as part of the deal. When the young man makes a play for the engineer's wife, trouble sets in.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
