Under Grave Suspicion
A man and woman have an angry fight at their beach house while a dangerous storm builds toward hurricane strength.
Unemployed electrical engineer Thomas Drake and his wife Maryann, who began their relationship as two modern singles willing to give living under the same roof a try, find their marriage on the rocks. She begins seeing another man whom Drake threatens to kill unless he leaves her alone. Just hours before Hurricane Gilda hits their Long Island seaside cottage, their stormy marriage takes a frightening, unexpected turn.
A bitter fight between a couple. A sea side cottage. And turbulent weather that threatens to turn into a hurricane.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
