Voice from the Grave
Based on a true to life tale, a detective must rely on a doctor's wife and her peculiar talent to discover the truth behind the death of a female lab technician.
Captain Norman Burgess, without a clue in his investigation of the brutal murder of a Chinese woman, is intrigued by information provided by Dr. Toon Hoy, whose wife was a friend of the victim. While sleeping, Mrs. Hoy, with a voice sounding much like the murdered woman’s, described the last moments of her friend’s life. Burgess is skeptical of this psychic phenomenon, but he’s willing to accept any help he can get in his attempts to discover the murderer’s identity.
A detective teams up with a doctor's wife who has a strange gift to solve the real story behind a woman lab worker's death in this true story.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
