We Meet Again

A woman's ex-boyfriend gets arrested for murder by her police officer husband. She believes her former lover didn't do it and feels bad about leaving him years ago. She teams up with her husband to find the real killer and prove the man is innocent.

Anne Kovacs is shocked when her detective husband Harry tells her he has, after three months of leg work, solved the murder of a well-known actress. Although Harry doesn’t know it, Anne was once engaged to Jeff Parker, the man Harry has arrested. Anne realizes that Jeff has long been a playboy, but is certain that he is incapable of committing murder. Without telling Harry, she starts her own investigation to prove Jeff innocent.

The murderer recently apprehended by her husband turns out to be the wife's old flame. She is convinced of the man's innocence and feels guilty for having ditched him. She decides to take the investigation into her own hands along with a bit of help from her husband.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
