Witches’ Sabbath
Witches celebrating their holy day, witches conspire to kill a man with murderous intentions.
Though he wants to say no, shy Perry Harnishfeger shouts, “What are we waiting for!” when two beautiful women—a blonde and brunette—invite him to a night of fun. They take him to a party, dress him in a special robe, put him before a fountain of burning champagne, and introduce him to the Prince of Darkness. The Prince proclaims that in order to serve his royal highness, Perry must kill three times—his hated boss, his unfaithful wife and her lover. Perry obeys, but then wants to believe it was all a dream.
On their sacred holiday, a group of witches plot to murder a man who wants to kill people.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
