Yesterday’s Giant

Amateur anthropologist Richard Gidding excitedly tells his old friend, naturalist Jim MacLane, that a recent underground nuclear explosion in Nevada had flushed out from a remote cave a family of giant prehistoric Neanderthals. Gidding wants Jim to go back to the cave area with him during the next test blast. Jim agrees, but is greatly disappointed when Giddings admits his prime purpose is to capture the family alive so he can make money exhibiting them.

After a nuclear exercise, two scientists discover a group of Neanderthals living in the strange jungles of Nevada desert. Each of them follow the remarkable discovery with their own means and goals.
