Guests Cliff Nazarro And Jackie Cooper
The episode opens with "Ride, Cossack, Ride," followed by Edgar Bergen performing with dummy Mortimer Snerd after Charlie McCarthy temporarily left the show (Charlie has since returned home). With Don Ameche still on vacation, Edgar confuses the Mortimer Snerd and Charlie McCarthy voices and has to stop the performance. Guest stars Gene Lockhart and Jackie Cooper perform in "The Men In The Family" by Robert Cenedella, while Cliff Nazarro does double-talk comedy about his South Seas adventures and also performs a song. Charlie McCarthy returns to reconcile with Bergen, and Nelson Eddy makes his final appearance as a regular on the program.
