The doomed second expedition to Landro is dying of plague. How do the natives manage to survive?

A second Earth expedition to Landor finds its numbers dwindling from a plague they cannot combat. Captain Warren and his crew, once eagerly probing this strange world, now struggle to understand its natives, who alone possess the immunity to the disease. They finally discover that the plague symbolizes human vices which they must overcome to survive.

Captain Warren leads another mission from Earth to the planet Landor, but a deadly sickness starts killing his crew members one by one. The explorers who once excitedly studied this alien world now fight to learn from the local people, who are the only ones who can't get sick. Warren and his men finally learn that the disease represents the bad parts of human nature that they must defeat to stay alive.
