A Piece of Publicity
George Valentine gets hired by Marta Dvorak, a well-known trapeze performer, to keep her safe from someone who's been writing her scary letters asking for five thousand dollars. George figures out that Marta is probably writing the letters herself just to get attention in the news. But then something terrible happens—Marta turns up dead, killed by strangulation.
Let George Do It is an American radio drama series produced from 1946 to 1954 by Owen and Pauline Vinson. Bob Bailey starred as private investigator George Valentine; Olan Soule voiced the role in 1954. Don Clark directed the scripts by David Victor and Jackson Gillis.
