Love Letter From Mr X

Description

Lum decides to send a secret love letter to Sergeant Hartford. He signs it with a fake name, "Mr. X," so the sergeant won't know who it's from. But then Lum makes a big mistake—he puts his own name and address on the outside of the envelope! This means Sergeant Hartford will know right away that the letter came from Lum, even though Lum tried to keep it a secret.

Lum and Abner was an American network radio comedy program created by Chester Lauck and Norris Goff that was produced from 1931 to 1954. Modeled on life in the small town of Waters, Arkansas, near where Lauck and Goff grew up, the show proved immensely popular. In 1936, Waters changed its name to "Pine Ridge" after the show's fictional town.
