John F Kennedy (Senator, Mass.)
Description
Mr. Kennedy explains that if he didn't expect to live a long life, he wouldn't want to be the vice president. He says the vice president would only get a chance to make important decisions if something happened to him. Mr. Kennedy had announced the day before that he was running for president. He repeats his point about not wanting to be vice president if the president might not live very long.
