The Heavenly Body
Sam Zackery, a writer for the newspaper, has knowledge about Jack Rawlings' death from two years back. He's using this information to blackmail a gorgeous woman named Nan Cole. Nan happens to be in love with Al, who works as a bartender, but Sam Zackery doesn't approve of their relationship.
Mr. and Mrs. North are fictional American amateur detectives. Created by Frances and Richard Lockridge, the couple was featured in a series of 26 Mr. and Mrs. North novels, a Broadway play, a motion picture and several radio and television series.
