Phantom Of The Opera
Description
In this radio show episode, Fred Allen asks people on Allen's Alley a question about whether a new "Work Or Fight" order will change their lives. Different characters answer, including Joe Doe (who sounds like John Brown), Mrs. Nussbaum, Socrates Mulligan (who sounds like Charlie Cantor), and Fallstaff Openshaw (played by Alan Reed). Later in the show, Fred and his guest Claude Rains perform their own funny version of "Phantom Of The Opera." Their version is called "The Phantom Of Carnegie Hall" instead.
