Elsie Trellafas Is Suing George
George and Garcie start the show with a comedy bit about Irene Dunne. Meanwhile, Elsie has filed a lawsuit against George for $10,000 or possibly even more money. She's taking him to court because he had told her he would get her a spot on the radio, but he didn't follow through on that promise.
Burns and Allen were an American comedy duo consisting of George Burns and his wife Gracie Allen. They worked together as a successful comedy team that entertained vaudeville, film, radio, and television audiences for over forty years.
