George Gets A Black Eye
George and Gracie had been performing for sailors in San Diego, and afterward they decided to take a trip down to Tijuana. When it came time to head back across the border, things didn't go as smoothly as they'd hoped. The real question everyone wants to know is: how did George end up with that black eye?
Burns and Allen were an American comedy duo consisting of George Burns and his wife Gracie Allen. They worked together as a successful comedy team that entertained vaudeville, film, radio, and television audiences for over forty years.
