Gracie Writes A Play

Description

Gracie decides to start her own newspaper and performs the main song in a theatrical production about her new venture. To get an exciting story, she arranges for her top journalists (Burns, Hiestand and Shaw) to be sneaked into a jail so they can report on what happens there.

Burns and Allen were an American comedy duo consisting of George Burns and his wife Gracie Allen. They worked together as a successful comedy team that entertained vaudeville, film, radio, and television audiences for over forty years.
