The Man Who Knew Everything

At a nightclub filled with trouble and crime, owner Nick Thompson and his publicity man Jerry Fenton work to keep their shaky business running. Jerry thinks they should use a mind reader named Randor the Mystic to help them with a grand jury problem. Jerry breaks into Randor's apartment, kills him, and discovers a special drug that lets him read people's thoughts. His big plans drive him to rob a company payroll, but in the end, his greed destroys him.

A low-level crook with big dreams discovers a secret recipe that lets him see into people's thoughts, then uses this power to threaten and blackmail his way toward ruling the world.

In a nightclub where tension and crime are commonplace, Nick Thompson, the owner, and Jerry Fenton, his press agent, try to maintain their fragile empire. When Jerry suggests using Randor the Mystic to influence a grand jury, he breaks into the mind reader's apartment, kills him, and learns the secret of a drug that enables him to read minds. His ambitions lead him to a payroll heist and ultimately to his own destruction.
