Can There Be A Reduction In Non-Defense Expenditures
Today's show is called "Wake Up America" and it's put on by The American Economics Foundation. Two people are going to talk about an important question: Can the federal government cut back a lot on spending that isn't for defense? The two speakers are Henry M. Rison, who runs Brown University, and T. D. Smith, who is a Representative-At-Large from Illinois. They will discuss whether the government can really make big cuts to non-defense spending.
Arthur Stivaletta, also known as Mr. Wake Up America, was an American political activist and building contractor from Dedham, Massachusetts.
