Should Congress Assume More Responsibility Planning For Peace

A group of three speakers will discuss whether Congress should take on greater responsibility for handling domestic issues and preparing for peace. The speakers are T. V. Smith, who teaches Philosophy at The University Of Chicago and used to serve in Congress from Illinois; Norman Thomas, who leads The Socialist Party and heads the executive committee of The Post-War Council; and Senator Alexander Wiley, a Republican from Wisconsin.
