World of F. Scott Fitzgerald, The

THE WORLD OF F. SCOTT FITZGERALD was a series of eight one-hour programs giving an audio biography of F. Scott Fitzgerald and his times. A production of National Radio Theatre of Chicago, aired on National Public Radio stations. The first half hour of each show covered Fitzgerald and the era of the roaring twenties, including interviews with people who knew him (done in a style similar to BIOGRAPHY IN SOUND, per the J. David Goldin OTR database). The second half hour consisted of dramatizations of Mr. Fitzgerald's works. The series aired at various times and dates around the country, so the first and last show dates are in question.
