Description
Insurance salesman Gordon Bailey faces trouble when a photographer starts blackmailing him. Scared and torn about what to do, he meets someone else being blackmailed by the same photographer. Together, they realize their only escape is to kill the man.
Gordon Bailey is a typical insurance man, burdened by a blackmailing photographer. Under the pressure of fear and moral conflict, he meets another victim of the photographer and comes to the chilling conclusion that their only way out is to kill him.
Gordon Bailey refuses to take any part in Dave Bliss’ suggestion that he participate in killing their mutual blackmailer, even though the plan contains a perfect alibi for all. But when the entire group of blackmail victims gather, they decide that Bailey’s conscience endangers their safety.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
