A Feast of Death

Description

In Paris during the tumultuous years of World War I, a penniless seamstress meets a charming and mysterious entrepreneur who vows undying lover for her. Beautiful Yvette is so entranced when she is swept off her feet into the arms and sumptuous lifestyle of her new lover, Jacques, that she thinks little about the origin of his incredible wealth. When he is arrested suddenly, Yvette turns to his friend Andre for help. As she pours out her story it becomes apparent to them that perhaps Jacques is not at all who he presents himself to be.

During World War I in Paris, a young woman named Yvette falls for Jacques, a man she thinks is smart and wonderful. But when Yvette finds out that Jacques is a liar who helps steal money from insurance companies, she learns he is actually a very dangerous person.

Yvette, a hopeful young woman in a Parisian apartment during World War I, is entranced by Jacques, her supposedly brilliant lover. When she discovers his treachery and his involvement in a sinister scheme to defraud insurance companies, he shows his true nature as a dangerous man.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
