A Mexican Standoff
Description
Shortly after George Adams, a small-town Nebraska mailman, is named“ Mr. Good Citizen, USA” in a syndicated article, he and his wife, Martha, start getting more mail than George can deliver. In one letter, an anonymous admirer invites the couple on a Mexican vacation. It seems like a dream come true, until the Adamses meet their benefactor in Mexico City and George recognizes his face: it is from the “Ten Most Wanted” list on the post office’s bulletin board.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
