Judy and Jerry Fuller enjoy a quiet life in the city until a killer breaks into their house and threatens to commit murder. The married couple must work as a team to outsmart the dangerous intruder. Their safe home turns into a place where they must fight for their lives using their brains and bravery.

Killer-for-hire Mill Fram finds Judy and Jerry Fuller’s vacant Fifth Avenue apartment offers the perfect vantage point from which to assassinate a Central American dictator staying in New York. But the young couple’s unexpected return from a canceled ocean cruise threatens Fram’s set-up and starts a battle of wits between a mild general practitioner and a professional murderer. In the heart of the city, Judy and Jerry Fuller live a peaceful, everyday existence until their normalcy is shattered when an assassin takes over their home and plans a deadly act. Their bond strengthens as they work together to outsmart the intruder. Their home, once a place of contentment, becomes a battleground of wits and courage.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
