A Tiny Drop of Poison
Description
When a spy from another country gets killed, it ruins Eleanor Hartley's life in politics. Mr. Perry says she did it, so Eleanor has to face a lost year from her past that connects her to the dead person. While her husband Ted tries to find out if she's guilty, Eleanor fights with what's right and the weight of terrible things about to happen.
The sudden murder of a foreign agent disrupts Eleanor Hartley's political career. Accused of the crime by Mr. Perry, Eleanor must confront a missing year in her past that ties her to the victim. As Ted, her husband, investigates her guilt, she struggles with her conscience and the pressure of impending tragedy.
Eleanor Hartley, a young, beautiful, and ambitious woman in a race for the U.S. House of Representatives, is dumbfounded when her policeman husband is assigned to investigate a murder she committed in self-defense five years ago—one she is sure no one witnessed. The problem is apparently solved when a known gangster is arrested for the crime.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
