Description
An old man has the supernatural powers and ability to diagnose ailments and cure them with a strange warmness in his hands. His son-in-law, a doctor, fears his medical practice will be ruined.
In a quiet village, widower Stefan Gottlieb's nightly visits to a cemetery unsettle his family. They worry about his daughter Emily, who died before Bertha was born. When Kraus insists Stefan healed his mare, Bertha and Manfred are torn between logic and belief in Stefan's unearthly powers.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
