A Very Private Miracle
Description
Multi-millionaire Jasper Crown has closed down his money-losing mill, Dawson City's largest employer. Now living alone in his large mansion—his wife is dead and his children have left him—Crown ignores all pleas to reopen the plant so people can work again. That is, until a little girl, Jennifer Swallow, persuades him to dress up as Santa Claus and attend the church's annual Christmas party.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
