All Unregistered Aliens
Description
Wistfully aware that her free clinic is a sanctuary for the neighborhood's strange and lonely people, Dr. Anna Quiller is drawn into the mystery of Melgania, a shadowy world to which her patients belong. Her search for identity and belonging leads her to question her own origins.
Dr. Anna Quiller runs a free clinic that becomes a safe place for the odd and lonely people in her neighborhood. She gets pulled into the mystery of Melgania, a dark world where her patients come from. As she tries to find out who she really is and where she belongs, she starts to wonder about her own past.
Dr. Anna Quiller has set up her practice in the slum area in which she was born. “I’m needed here,” she says. The area is home for many unregistered aliens, and when one of them, dying from a bullet wound, is brought to her she neglects to report his death to the police. One reason for this is that after the boy died, the body disappeared. Dr. Quiller can’t figure out why or how this could have happened.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
