Bullet Proof

Description

Rocky Stark used to be a criminal but changed his ways. Now he lives in a rough part of the city. When someone gets killed, the police find Rocky's gun where it happened. Everyone thinks Rocky did it. His wife, his brother, and a smart lawyer all help him. Rocky works to show he didn't kill anyone. He finds out that someone from his past is trying to make him look guilty.

Rocky Starke, recently released from a two-year prison sentence, faces murder accusations when a thug named Johnny Mallory is killed. The weapon used belonged to Rocky, who works as a night watchman and kept the gun with him constantly. A shooting range proprietor potentially holds crucial evidence but is killed before reaching police headquarters.

In a grimy urban neighborhood, Rocky Stark, a reformed ex-convict, is suspected of murder when his gun is found at the scene of a crime. With the support of his wife, brother, and a savvy lawyer, Rocky tries to prove his innocence and discovers that he is being framed by an old enemy.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
