Description

A creepy doll shows up in a quiet town and turns a doctor's family against each other. The doctor, his wife, his brother, and his niece all become terrible people because of it. Their family falls apart in a tragic way, and they learn that love and being loyal to family can sometimes lead to dark places.

A small town's peace is shattered by the appearance of a grisly doll that brings out the worst in a doctor, his wife, his brother, and his niece. It leads to a family tragedy and to the realization that love and loyalty may have a darker side.

Jenny Taylor, 16, following the peculiar death of her parents, comes to live with her uncle, Dr. Sam Taylor, and his family. Jenny is a stunning young woman whose attention to Dr. Sam turns his head. But when his wife comes down with the strange ailment that killed Jenny’s mother and Jenny admits that she, with her unusual powers, is responsible, Dr. Sam realizes that she must go—even if it means murdering her.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
