Death and Desire
Description
A former circus performer who now talks to spirits faces trouble from her dead husband's ghost and her helper who doesn't believe in her powers. They get ready to hold a meeting with spirits for a rich customer. When they call up a ghost, feelings run high and everyone wants the dead person back even more. In the end, she makes peace with being alive and goes back to the circus.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
