Description
Zelda Palmer is on the way to prison for the murder of her husband. Her claim that it was an accident is overshadowed by the testimonies of her butler and stepson. Only detective Cynthia Weston questions the real motive in the case: Why would Zelda murder John when she was madly in love with him?
Detective Cynthia Weston wonders why Zelda Palmer would kill her husband John when she loved him deeply, even as Zelda heads to prison based on testimony from her butler and stepson who don't believe her claim that the death was an accident.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
