Frankenstein Revisited

Description

A U.S. television crew in Germany decide to film the 400th anniversary of the death of Baron von Frankenstein. Soon after they arrive at the castle where the “creepy” happenings supposedly occurred, troubles beset the camera crew. The monster who killed the Baron is reputed to return every century looking for fresh blood. There’s soon evidence that the monster has come back once more, making the crew wish that they had stayed home.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
