Her Long Blonde Hair

Description

Magda Sikorsky, wife of a police lieutenant, is fascinated by her course in Medieval English, taught by renowned professor Damon Mildood. But when one of the poems she is studying seems to resemble a murder case her husband can’t solve, she decides to do a little sleuthing of her own and finds the professor may be more than a teacher.

The strangling grip of the past, which haunts Professor Damon McLeod after a bitter marriage, is mirrored in the legend of a mysterious violin bow that he desperately seeks to possess. The bow, which is part of a strange family legacy, is held by Ella May Maltby, an ambitious young country musician.

Professor Damon McLeod can't escape his painful divorce, and his troubles mirror an old story about a special violin bow he must have. The bow belongs to his family's dark history, but now Ella May Maltby, a determined young country singer, owns it.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
