House Without Mirrors
Description
The story unfolds in a grand, mirrorless mansion, shrouded in an air of mystery and tension. Oswald Strange, a man tormented by the past, lives here alongside his loyal valet, John Macy. Their days revolve around an unusual rule: no mirrors allowed. Within these walls, life is quiet, the silence broken only by the whispers of memories Strange cannot escape. This is their world, untouched by outside chaos, yet brimming with internal discord.
In a big house without mirrors, troubled Oswald Strange lives with his faithful servant John Macy, following a strange rule that bans all looking glasses while haunted memories from his past fill the quiet rooms with unspoken pain.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
