Description
In a small town, bank teller Eberhard Edwards is bewildered to find angelic wings sprouting from his back. His wife Mabel thinks they are a troublesome curse and plans that he commit the seven deadly sins so they will disappear. But Eberhard fails hilariously at every sin, and eventually earns the halo that replaces his wings.
A humble bank employee named Eberhard Edwards develops angel wings due to his exceptional kindness. His wife attempts to help him shed them by encouraging him to commit sins, but each attempt fails. They ultimately conclude he who gave them to him is the only one who can take them away.
Bank worker Eberhard Edwards lives in a little town and gets confused when angel wings start growing out of his back. His wife Mabel believes the wings are bad luck and wants him to do seven terrible things so the wings will go away. But Eberhard messes up every bad thing he tries to do in funny ways, and in the end he gets a halo instead of wings.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
