Hung Jury
Description
Henry Pollard owes a lot of money because he gambles too much. One day, he sees someone get killed. The dead person has plenty of cash on them, so Pollard takes it to pay what he owes. Later, Pollard gets picked to be on a jury for the murder case. The police think the dead man's driver did it. Pollard wants the other jury members to say the driver is not guilty, even though the driver's story makes him look like he committed the crime.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
