Description
In a jewelry firm, George Wallaby, a meek employee, finds his life disrupted by Harold Buckhalter, the new sales manager. When a detective informs George of Harold's criminal past, George devises a scheme to trap him, but he is soon caught in a web of deceit himself. His plan backfires, and he learns that crime has unforeseen ironies.

At a jewelry company, quiet worker George Wallaby's peaceful life gets turned upside down when Harold Buckhalter becomes the new sales boss. After a detective tells George that Harold used to be a criminal, George comes up with a plan to catch him. But George gets tangled up in his own lies and tricks. His scheme falls apart, and he discovers that breaking the law brings surprises he never saw coming.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
