Description
Helen Todd, a plain high school senior, doesn’t really like her parents, her brother, or her boyfriend Billy. But she doesn’t say anything until she meets Caesar Smith, who convinces Helen she is a goddess with the ability to cast spells on people who annoy her. When Billy breaks a date with her, Helen tests her powers by wishing him dead, but soon she becomes afraid that he and her parents and brother may really succumb to her evil wishes.
Helen Todd, a senior in high school, yearns to be an actress and to escape from her dull Midwestern town. Her first encounter with the supernatural occurs when she meets Caesar Smith, who introduces her to the 'Fellowship of Ancient Mind.' She is tempted to use her new power to curse Billy, her boy friend, who has hurt her by canceling a date. But the excitement turns to horror as she imagines her curse has killed her father and her brother.
High school senior Helen Todd dreams of becoming an actress and getting away from her boring small town in the Midwest. After her boyfriend Billy hurts her feelings by breaking their date, Helen wants to use her new abilities to put a curse on him. But her excitement becomes terror when she thinks her curse has killed both her father and her brother.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
