Insight Into Murder
Description
When attorney Terence Pierce is stirred from his apathy by a newspaper photograph, he begins to suffer visions of an 1810 murder in England, which, he believes, may clear a falsely accused man of the recent crime of strangling actress Sybil Harrison.
Meg Pierce is convinced her lawyer husband Terry needs a vacation when he tells her his beliefs about Sybil Harrison's murder and how a caretaker has been framed. At Terry's insistence, Meg checks London newspapers of 1810 and discovers he is correct about Lady Millbrook. But she also learns the lawyer who defended the caretaker in 1810 was later found floating in the Thames River.
Lawyer Terence Pierce sees a photo in the newspaper that wakes him up from not caring about anything, and he starts having visions of a murder that happened in England in 1810, which he thinks might prove that an innocent man didn't kill actress Sybil Harrison by strangling her.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
