Description
James Correll works as an assistant sales manager for an electronics company. On his way to Chicago, two highway cops pull him over, search him, and bring him to the police station. The police say he killed a woman he doesn't even know - they found his clothes and gun in her room. Correll says he didn't do it, but a police psychiatrist tells such a believable story about how Correll was involved that he begins to think he really did commit the murder.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
