Description
A genius scientist in a high-tech future builds a deadly war machine called the Killer Crab, causing trouble between him and his wife while another man tries to win her love. The two men both die when the Crab attacks a spacecraft with the woman they both want aboard.
In a future world of advanced technology and machines, a brilliant inventor creates a powerful instrument of war, the Killer Crab, which leads him into conflict with his wife and a rival for her affection. Both men are finally killed when the Crab intercepts a space vehicle carrying the woman they love.
Joe Harkness, a “down to Earth” guy living on planet Vivian, doesn’t seem to measure up to mate Ruth’s ideals. Despite her desire to separate from Joe, Ruth insists on retaining her share of Joe’s new weapon, K. C. What neither of them realize is the future price to be paid for this investment.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
