At a rundown old house near New York, two young actors named Tom and Angie Barr face the spirit of a dead woman who looks like Angie. While moving in, Angie discovers an old chest full of clothing and a mirror that reveals the ghost. The husband and wife uncover a hidden secret about switched babies and a sad death from long ago. They must deal with their own scary feelings, but in the end, they come together through the power of love that was left behind.

Tom and Angie Barr, young New York actors and parents of a brand-new baby, are refurbishing an old Victorian house some 40 miles up the Hudson River. They’re having a wonderful time, hammering and sanding, until they discover in the attic an old three-quarter-length oval mirror. It’s a rare antique, but it turns sinister when Angie starts seeing in it, a young woman crying for help and demanding that Angie give up her young child.

In a decrepit Victorian house outside New York, young actors Tom and Angie Barr confront the ghost of a woman who resembles Angie. Unpacking, she finds an old trunk of clothes and a mirror that shows the ghost's presence. The couple learns of a concealed child swap and a tragic death. They confront their own fears, but ultimately are united by the legacy of love.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
