Description

While Jean Valjean strives to shield Cosette from the streets of riotous Paris and the watchful Javert, the landlord's porter is murdered, forcing Valjean into a moral dilemma that puts him in danger and delays his search for Marius, who is now a revolutionary on the barricades.

Jean Valjean tries to protect Cosette from the dangerous riots in Paris and hide from Inspector Javert, but when someone kills the building's doorman, Valjean faces a tough choice that puts him at risk and slows down his hunt for Marius, who has joined the rebels fighting at the barricades.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
