Let No Man Put Asunder
Description
Paul Raymond, imprisoned on suspicion of killing his wife, has spent the last ten New Year’s Eves with best friend Mark Young, and this one is no different. Despite Raymond’s seeming lack of remorse about his wife’s death in a fire, Young believes his old college roommate is innocent in her death, but a murderer nonetheless.
On New Year's Eve, Mark Young visits his old friend Paul Raymond, who has been imprisoned for the suspicious death of his wife, Louisa. The cold, sterile prison air contrasts with the warm memories they share, as well as with Mark's recollection of his own tragic past.
Mark Young goes to see his old buddy Paul Raymond in prison on New Year's Eve. Paul is locked up because people think he killed his wife Louisa. The jail feels cold and empty, but it brings back good times they had together and also makes Mark think about the sad things that happened to him before.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
