Life Blood

Description

In a dimly lit laboratory, Professor Moore completes his lifelike robot, Amelia. But when she draws a young scientist away from his fiancée, Moore's friend realizes that Amelia's presence threatens both lives and his own.

Professor Moore finishes building his realistic robot named Amelia in his dark lab. When Amelia makes a young scientist forget about the woman he plans to marry, Moore's friend sees that Amelia puts everyone in danger.

After ten years of experimentation with computers, sound waves, and unheard of advances in physics and chemistry, Jarrell Thornton has created a most beautiful, “perfect” woman, Amelia, a robot. He hopes to lure Harry Burton, a scientist he hates, into marrying her without knowing her background, but he doesn’t count on the interference of another scientist, Arthur Moore, who also falls in love with Amelia and doesn’t want her to be hurt.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
